Today I had a university interview for Bournemouth, pretty far from where I live actually. So anyways I woke up super late and was rushing around trying to get ready so I didn't get to take my OOTD pictures until I got back.

On my face I am wearing:

MAC Studio Fix powder plus foundation
Bobbi Brown blush in Pale Pink
And Barry Kohl pencil
I did have on my big, warm puffa coat aswell to keep me warm but was just too much to photo. I literally wear that coat EVERYWHERE.

My favourite fabrics for this season are definitely Velvet and Leather. These two fabrics go together so well, especially when your going for a edgy look.
Here's an example of how I put together leather and velvet. I've been waiting for the perfect time to wear these leggings and I think it really works well.
I think what I love most is the colour contrast between the leggings and everything else.
Although, Velvet can look so cheap and tacky if not styled correctly, definitely a difficult fabric to work with if you ask me.
Oh! Another thing, Jeffery Campbell has made the most AMAZING pair of crushed velvet Litas in a yummy dark green colour. So many people say they hate Litas because they see them so often, but I just can not get enough of them. These bad boys have been calling out for me but I just don't know how often I would wear them ...
Leather pants are looking pretty great for this season as well. A lovely alternative to jeans or leggings, they can give an edgy feel to an outfit or they can be dressed up with a white shit and heels to make a sophisticated evening outfit. I think everyone should have a pair of leather pants tucked away into their wardrobe!
