HaulVEMBER

Hey Guys,

Hope you've all had a productive week!

I've got a massive haul to show you guys. Originally I wanted to film this but my good pal Desmond (my camera) seems to be broken, boo :(

I'm going to split it into 2 days, because I went on an all weekend bender!

On Saturday I made a quick trip to Oxford Circus. I only intended on returning something, I left with more than I came with.

I picked up one of my many most wanted beauty products in House Of Fraser ... The Urban Decay Naked Palette.

I was actually going to purchase the Naked Basics Palette, however the woman working on the UD stall advised that it wouldn't be very much use to me. I decided to go with the original palette, as I am not an eyeshadow wearer, I thought it would be easy to use the neutral, warm colours included. As a fan of natural looking makeup, I think this palette is great for achieving a 'Glam' natural look.

I also popped into John Lewis to pick up a few more beauty bits, as they had 10% off beauty.

I picked up the ever so popular 'They're Real' Mascara. I love massive thick dark lashes and this is a great product for achieving that look. I also picked up the 'They're Real' Eyeliner, which I believe is quite new in the UK. Its great at creating the perfect cat eye thanks to it innovative applicator. Also I love gel liners because they last all day!

I also purchased a perfume, which I featured in my previous post. Finally I went into Zara and picked up a pair of low heeled booties. I hate heels but these are so comfy and they look great with everything.

As if Saturday wasn't enough ... I went to Bicester Village in Oxford with my mum and her friend on Sunday.

Bicester, is basically a designer outlet, in one convenient little shopping village, complete with eateries. It literally has every designer store in there!!

I had a 30% off voucher code for Ralph Lauren, I purchased a Grey knitted jumper, with a burgundy polo horse - Classic winter colours.

I'm a sucker for candles, so I went to Ralph Lauren Home and got a gorgeous fruity candle. If a tropical holiday had a scent, this would be it!

There is a little store in the village called 'Cosmetics Company' where they sell MAC, Estee Lauder, Smashbox and a few other brands.

I grabbed a MAC Eyeshadow Brush #275 and an Eyeshadow in the shade Romantique. The eyeshadow is a really pearly and shimmery pink shade.

FINALLY, my last purchase of the day ............

Look out for my coming blog, where you'll find out whats in the bag!

Happy reading xx

Third time around ...

Hey guys,

I'm back for a third time, and determined to stay!

Today, I bring to you a product review. The new Balenciaga 'B' perfume.

So initially, I went out to buy my favourite winter perfume Roberto Cavalli Eau De Parfum. This fragrance is quite deep, mysterious, warm and sexy... Perfect for winter. Apparently its a summer/floral scent, not too sure I agree. What I love about the Roberto Cavalli perfume is that you a laced in the scent ALL DAY!

Now the new Balenciaga perfume is the complete opposite in terms of scent. It is a more sophisticated scent, definitely a daytime fragrance. 'B' is a floral scent yet very woodsy with a hint of pepper/spice. My 3 favourite attributes in a fragrance. As expected from any well made Eau De Parfum, the scent lingers on  the skin for hours - at least 6 from my observations.

The packaging is sophisticated, simple and elegant just like the scent. The monochrome box is minimalist yet on trend and classic. The bottle is easy to grip and feels comfortable in the hand.

I purchased in John Lewis Oxford Street, where they had 2 promotions on. They had 10% off on beauty ... bargain! They also has a nail artist from O.P.I on deck offering free manicures with any Balenciaga purchase. There were 3 designs to choose from. 2 Monochrome styles and the style I have pictured above. All designs are in the style of the packaging/fragrance.

All in all, I am loving the scent its clean and simple, perfect for these chilly winter days! The free manicure was a lovely little extra.

I've got lots of ammo for blogging, so expect to see lots of posts from me in the coming weeks! I can't  wait to get back in the swing of things.

Ill be back soon xx
