I've been so busy with work I've put blogging on the back burner, it's terrible but I am hoping to get back on top of it.
So, I usually wear my hair natural, but I've noticed that my ends have been growing thin due to constant use of heat tools. To give my hair a break I decided that I would weave it up.
After my last hair (which I had for 2 years) did not take very well to the bleach, I began looking to purchase new weave from a respected company, so I had a good look around. I'd heard many people experiencing bad hair from Ali Express - so I steered clear of them. I also look at purchasing from Bella Dream hair but it was too expensive at the time!
I had heard glowing reviews for a company called Bléuribbon. With Yandy from Love and Hip Hop and Chris Browns girl Karrauche I knew the hair had to be good. I totally stalked their instagram and twitter. They were also having a bank holiday hair sale - even better! They're number 1 selling hair is the Peruvian range, but I settled for Brazilian as I know it and its got a coarser texture, more likely to blend with my natural hair. The sale was pretty much £10.00 off each bundle. I ordered an 18" and 20" in natural brown body wave.
I ordered on the 21st April and received the hair on the 2nd May. In the meantime, I was contacted by the company, they informed me that due to a large number of sales recently, delivery may take longer.

When I opened the packaging I was not 100% impressed with the box, it was a little bit battered and very basic. Also the ends of the weave were hanging out. The bundles were not securely placed in the box, they were just put it a rolled around.
Luckily the weave was intact. I cannot express how SOFT and bouncy the hair is! The whole day at would I was running my finger through it and so were my colleagues. I experienced virtually no shedding and the wave remained in the hair.
When I got home I shampooed and conditioned the hair. It took the product well and did not hold onto any residue. There was not tangling and literally 2 strands of shedding! I left to air dry over night and when I woke up the waves were in full effect. The hair was just as bouncy and soft as when it first arrived.
Heres a link to the hair I purchased: http://www.bleuribbonhair.com/product/virgin-brazilian-2/
I definitely recommend purchasing from the company.
I'll write another blog when I get my weave installed, but so far its looking good!
xx

Hi hun! Great post. I just was researching them and your blog came up. How do you feel about the hair now that you have had it for awhile? Pros and cons? Thanks much
ReplyDeleteHey, so sorry for the delay! I still love the hair, I've had it since My 2014 and I've installed it about 6 times. I alternate between weave and natural.
DeleteThe hair is super soft and very manageable, It's not thin so you can achieve quite a natural looking weave, which is how I like it. I did purchase one more bundle In like December '14, just to add a bit more length.
The only thing that I don't like, is how quickly the hair got split ends. They aren't really bad ones, however I do notice the little white dots at the ends.
All in all, I love the hair and will continue to purchase from Bleu Ribbon. If you get any let me know what you think!
I found this company to be rubbish
ReplyDeleteSpent £450 on Brazilian deep wave bundles they sent out crud! All knotty and shedding
Sent bck for an exchange (as they don't do refunds) but surprise suprise the companies gone silent. Won't return emails, or calls and haven't sent out an exchange. You can't message them on Twitter coz they don't like 'real' feedback They have stolen over £450 of my money. An investigation has been opend and I will get my money bck but my advise to ya'll don't buy from these scumbags
